- I rarely say this but here it goes: I loved everything. It was a perfectly balanced session, great number of people, super presentation: from length to structure of the presentation, balance of info/content and Q&A, to the command of Erica (the presenter)
- Really interesting and accessible information wine and how to taste it.
- Erica is down to earth, approachable, and very informative about wine. She doesn't assume previous knowledge and is happy to answer questions honestly. I particularly appreciated her down to earth explanation of the basics of wine tasting.
- Erica has a wonderful but down to earth knowledge of wines. She makes it accessible but also brings a great amount of knowledge that brings colour to your tastings.
- Loved the online tasting and the intro with the regions - really insightful. Erica has an amazing way of explaining the wines and flavours making it a really interactive evening even in lockdown!
- Erica provides a really entertaining blend of information and informality-such fun!
- Brilliant! Erica was so knowledgeable and entertaining. We have had a 'Through the Grapevine' tasting before and the virtual experience was just a new way to have a fun, informative and social evening with friends while enjoying some delicious wine!
Erica makes wine tasting easy and accessible while being incredibly well-informed. The wine tastings that I have done with her have been well researched which means we all took away new information as well as having a fabulous time tasting a selection of great wines.

I asked Erica to host a wine tasting for my birthday this year - which turned out to be one of my final social gatherings before Covid-19 burst into all our lives! She had hosted one for my hen-do, and so was a natural choice to host this one. Everything was brilliantly thought-through - Erica knew I loved South African wines (having been there on honeymoon), and while she knows I'm a white wine fanatic, she included two red wines that she knew I would like and enjoy (and she was right!). Erica handled a large group of

people with exemplary aplomb - there were 15 of us, all with big personalities (and loud voices)! - and was informative, witty, and a joyous hostess throughout the afternoon. I cannot recommend her wine tastings highly enough.

I organised a hen party for a gay friend and Erica did an amazing job for my friend Iain, one of the grooms. He mainly likes white wine and so Erica tailored the occasion for me and did a tasting comprising a mixture of whites of differing grape varieties, some Champagne and just one red, a light Pinot Noir. Erica made the afternoon informative but also fun and the group had a really great time. I would definitely use her services again. Will, London (Sept 2018) |
I am not a massive fan of white wines so asked Erica if she could do six reds – and she could! Interesting wines from all over the world and a fab evening. Erica made the whole experience great fun, with everyone coming away with a bit more knowledge about wines – and perhaps some eye openers of likes and dislikes. Key word – Sparkling Red – totally strange and wonderful.

"I offered a wine tasting evening to a few friends as their Christmas present and it turned out to be a great gift and a brilliant evening. None of us quite knew what to expect but Erica was extremely professional from the initial contact about the evening through to emails about the wine choices and what food she would bring to accompany the chosen wines. We each had a little booklet, personalised for the evening, and with particular reference to the chosen wines. She showed us how to look at wine before even tasting it, then to savour it and finally to swallow it. Three separate but important processes that taught us all a lot. We had a six wines, two sparking, two white and two red and we tasted (rather than drunk) all six using Erica's guidance. There were a lot of funny facial expressions needed and a lot of giggling. Needless to say after the "work" had been done we then finished off the wine, putting our new found knowledge and skills to good use.
I would highly recommend Erica to anyone who wants to know a bit more about the wine they drink and the best way to drink it. It is a perfect social evening and great fun." - Streatham (January 2016)

"I've always been a bit intimidated by the idea of a wine tasting because to me it all just tastes like, well, wine! Our evening with Erica was amazing, she made it all seem so much more approachable, especially as she gave us the information about the wine so it wasn't like a test. We tasted three reds and three whites which was a great way to get started and assess which type of each wine we each preferred. I'm ready for my next tasting now and Erica's flexible approach to her tastings means that you can shape it to your requirements, whether you'd prefer to try a broad selection of reds and whites from around the world or just a variety of different Syrah from California." - Tess Bartley, London (March 2015)
"We had a great laugh/slightly raucous and soon got over our early bashfulness of tasting/spitting out wine in front of each other. We all had favourites and Erica's passionate fun, resonated through the experience. Some of us did forget the spitting - how can you spit it out when you have just found a new delicious wine? Many of us bought one or two bottles to enjoy again. I am sure we will be repeating the experience. Cheers Erica!" - Amanda, Rickmansworth Hockey Club (Dec 2014)
